Before joining Sinclair Recruitment in early 2007 Teresa enjoyed a successful career in Credit Management, where she worked in a variety of industries such as Manufacturing, Health, Pharmaceuticals and Telecommunications. During that time she developed a sound understanding of all things ‘Credit’ and her industry/market knowledge has been invaluable for her clients and candidates in the Recruitment field.

Having spent so long in Credit related roles and managing teams, the time came when Teresa felt she needed to explore a new direction in her career. She wanted a challenging role that would take her outside her comfort zone; Recruitment certainly did that… It was the perfect option given she had spent so much time on the other side of the desk as both a Client and Candidate. Teresa had dealt with many agencies which gave her a sound understanding as to what kind of service was, and was not, useful when it came to sourcing new employees or when in search of a new career. Moving into Recruitment Teresa was very confident she could deliver a service that would rival any competition.

Naturally Teresa’s expertise is in Credit Management and Collections having dealt with 3rd party collection agencies in her previous roles. She also has been involved with Finance, Legal, Customer Service and Business Support so could be considered a generalist.

Teresa comes from a large, close nit family and she enjoys quite a busy social life. Her love of Champagne ensured she was an instant ‘life member’ with Sinclair Recruitment. In her younger days she was heavily involved in sport having represented Victoria in Cricket and playing a great deal of Netball and Basketball. She now settles with being an armchair critic and lives with the unfortunate tag of TRAGIC long suffering (AFL) Richmond supporter! Teresa enjoys travelling abroad, as many weekends away as possible, and most importantly taking her ‘human’ dog Grover for long walks!
